A collection of cleverly crafted pop-rock songs; heavy on harmonies and desperately catchy melodies, Andrew LeDrew’s Ladies Lookout is the soundtrack of road trips and escapes, near misses and melancholy love. Local radio stations have already embraced the eagerly awaited disc, with the first single, For Dear Life, in heavy rotation. Building on his reputation as a solid songwriter and charismatic live performer, Andrew is ready to introduce his latest slate of tunes to the country.

Born in Mount Pearl, Andrew lived and performed in Ottawa and Halifax, returning home in 2001. An active member of the local music scene since then, Andrew made a name for himself as a solo artist before joining forces with his brother, Chris LeDrew, and launching the popular Brothers in Stereo CD in June 2003. Brothers in Stereo received airplay across Atlantic Canada, garnered three East Coast Music Award nominations, and were voted Best New Act at the 2003 MusicNL awards. The band received a prestigious VideoFact grant and became “the guys on the bus” — they filmed a video for Andrew’s The Worst Crowd on the top of a double-decker bus around downtown St. John’s. Andrew is also a two-time winner of the regional songwriting competition, heading to Toronto twice for the nationals. Andrew has cut his teeth on the national stage, sharing the stage which such acts as Great Big Sea, Sam Roberts, BTO, Our Lady Peace and Blue Rodeo … to name a few.

Produced by Andrew and Justin Merdsoy, Ladies Lookout is available in stores now.
